Missions
Jackson Park United Methodist Church is continuously involved in mission work such as collecting food for the Cooperative Christian Ministry Pantry, working at the Rowan Helping Ministries homeless shelter, providing free Festivals for the Community, and supporting both UMC Missionaries and the United Methodist University in Africa. Many of our members have also taken part in Medical Mission Trips, Building Team Mission Trips, and Bible School Mission Trips. Our Missions is led by Kim Roberts.
Parish Nurse
The Parish Nurse Program offers congregations a holistic approach to health that recognizes the interrelationship of the spirit, the body, and the mind. Part of a national, interdenominational group, the local Parish Nurse Program is cosponsored by Carolinas Medical Center-NorthEast and other local ministries. Our Parish Nurse is Paula Lambert, RN.
